Planting Trees

The other morning the Lord showed me that He wanted me to explain this miracle mystery to you for supernatural resources. Long before I knew anything about where I am now, the Lord gave me lessons in my dreams. He would show me a woman in the boiling hot sun, like a desert. It seemed like there was no way for her to survive and she had no physical income.

She had a tiny metal RV and in the dream, I could feel the intensity of the heat. Then I saw the lady enjoying the sweet indulgence of unusual miracles. In the dream, she had a cabinet full of marshmallows. This represented for me of how God’s love would show up to provide for her because nothing is sweeter than love!

The Lord showed me that the reason she was able to be sustained through such impossible conditions was that before she arrived here, she had planted trees to support her. This goes along with the spiritual law of sowing and reaping. Whatever seeds you sow, whether it be financial seeds, faith seeds, etc…you will reap a harvest. For every action, there is always a reaction.

After those dreams had come and gone with the night, the Lord had me provide a beautiful bedroom and shelter for a homeless woman and her daughter. For two years I provided for her financially and even bought an abundant Christmas for her little girl. We took special trips to the mall to do “Build a Bear” workshops and through my hands, the Lord gave comfort to this very distressed woman and her child.

The Lord also had me sow many other kinds of seeds during that time, both financial and spiritual (like decreeing and meditating on His words). This week the Lord told me that the reason that we have been so well taken care of now, is because we helped others before and planted trees of support in the spirit.

There were times in the past when the Lord would prepare me for times of purification, which was an intense faith-testing. He told me that if I ever needed money for anything, then to sow a seed. It is a law of sowing in the spirit that you will always get back what you give multiplied. Sometimes it is doubled, tripled, or much more.

Also, there were times when I had not even a penny to give. During those times, I would give out of my labors of love, like handwriting someone an encouraging message or making a gift out of what I had. Every action of the heart will cause a reaction in response. There were many times when the Lord showed me that there were provisions hidden in praying for others. Even praying blessings for others is an act of sowing seeds. 🙂

God knew well before I did that my husband would leave me and that I would be without that structure of support. However, God was faithful to show me how to maneuver through those impossible times through sowing and reaping. His promise and love will always remain.

When I was low in faith and fighting with doubt to believe in His promise, then I would sow acts of love to bless others. This action of sowing is a huge impact in the spirit and will always be given back to the giver–pressed down, shaken, and running over with more than enough!

This generous God who supplies abundant seed for the farmer, which becomes bread for our meals, is even more extravagant toward you. First, he supplies every need, plus more. Then he multiplies the seed as you sow it so that the harvest of your generosity will grow.

2 Corinthians 9:10
