Promise Helpers

There are two things that the Lord was showing me this morning that I would like to share, because it may be a breakthrough point to help someone in need. Like bees who help flowers and flowers who help bees, God uses His kids to help deliver promises.

Last season I was blessed with a large chunk of money and after suffering for so long with barely anything, my first instinct was to hold onto it tightly. Like Scarlette from ‘Gone with the Wind’, vowing to never suffer again, I had told myself that I will not let any of it go.

However this way of thinking was wrong because God gave our family this promise, “your bank IS full of money”. He never said it in the future tense. That meant that all that we need is available by faith. That means no matter what I do if I will believe His words, our bank will be full of money.

Then I had an encounter with the Lord in the night and He told me to use that money to buy my oldest daughter a used vehicle. What I didn’t know at that time was that God had promised my daughter a car.

When God told me to do that, I was literally crying. For months I had been walking in the icy cold snow to carry huge bags of groceries back to our room. And anyone who knows me understands the pain of this because I hate to be cold and I cry when I am too cold lol!

Yet, what else could I do, accept to follow the instructions of my best friend? So I did as the Lord said and I went to a place that He led me to. I had an idea in my mind about what to buy her and when I asked about what they had in my price range, he pointed to the Jeep. I had a deep knowing that I was to get that car and so I accepted it.

On the way back to bring home the car, I was crying because I was having a panic attack about spending money. However, when I gave her the car, I discovered that this was the EXACT same vehicle that she had been praying for…down to the very last detail too!

God used the blessing that I received to fulfill the promise for someone else. As I allowed myself to be a vessel of His love, I was also sowing into my own blessing. Just before God asked us to relocate towns again, I received a message that someone was giving us a car. It was the perfect timing too!

Even on top of finally having a car (that costs me absolutely nothing), God keeps showing me that He is still going to fulfill His promise to give us a new car. I don’t know if I can keep the car I am using now or how long it will last, but ever since we turned this corner, He has been speaking to me that we will receive a gift of a new car.

The other thing that God has been showing me is that the easier it is for us to release what we have to give to others will determine who easy it is to receive. Bees collect the sweet nectar of the flowers to feed the colony and in return, the bees spread the pollen of the flowers to multiply and grow.

Of course, like all good things of faith, it needs to be tested and experienced. So this morning I followed the Lords leading and gave what I had to help someone else. Just as I was wrapping up this post, He sent what I had given back to me…multiplied. WOW–:) He has shown me that to give is also a form of worship and trust in Him to always refill.  As the promise goes, ‘give and it will be given, overflowing back to you!

Give generously and generous gifts will be given back to you, shaken down to make room for more. Abundant gifts will pour out upon you with such an overflowing measure that it will run over the top! Your measurement of generosity becomes the measurement of your return. Luke 6:38 TPT
